The EBA Human Resources (HR) Committee was established in May 2001 and has already celebrated its six anniversary.

The Committee members represent HR managers and executives from EBA member-companies.

The HR Committee Chairmanship 2009 was elected on 8 December 2008:

• Valeria Kirpichnikova, M.I.P Ukraine (Chair);
• Vladislava Rutitskaia, Kyiv Investment Group (Board member);
• Vitaliy Mykhaylov, World Staff (Board member);
• Magdalena Stobinska-Kelhem, Profes (Board member);
• Julia Firsova, Fiege Ukraine (Board member).

The EBA HR Committee members meet to discuss issues concerning recruiting, human resource assessment and development, succession planning etc. The Committee also invites guest speakers who update the members on new services and products in the human resource field.

Another important activity of the HR Committee is meetings with the State officials. This activity allows making input from business representatives to labour related legislative acts (e.g. draft Labour Code of Ukraine).

The EBA HR Committee members can also exchange information within the CV database and vacancies in the EBA member-companies. The Committee holds its meetings on monthly basis on the last Wednesday of the month, at 5 p.m.
