The EBA Mineral Wool Insulation Committee was established in 2008 midyear. The Committee brings together EU based mineral wool insulation manufacturers.
At the moment there are four Committee members representing major market players:
Isover (Saint Gobain Construction Product Ukraine)
Knauf Insulation Ukraine
Rockwool Ukraine
URSA
The Committee’s activity is aimed to:
promote the introduction of modern construction technologies, based on use of high quality mineral wool thermal and acoustical insulation materials;
provide information and ideas for use of modern mineral wool thermal and acoustical insulation materials to reduce energy consumption and expenses in economy of the country;
elaborate unified Ukrainian standards and criteria of quality of mineral wool and thermal and acoustical insulation materials;
lobby and negotiate with standard setting organisations with the aim of speediest introduction of unified Ukrainian standards of quality and application of modern thermal and acoustical insulation materials, modernisation of normative construction basis (Construction rules and norms, State standards, etc);
support of investment activity & improvement of investment climate.
The Committee holds its meetings on a monthly basis.

EBA HR Committee
at the EBA office in Kyiv, 1-st floor, 1A Andriyivsky Uzviz. The meeting was devoted to summarising results of the EBA HR Committee activity in 2008. During this meeting the participants discussed the Committee priorities and action plan for 2009.
