Invitation to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises to Apply for Support from EU-funded Project
15 May 2008. The EU funded Project “Support to the Development of Business Capacity of Ukrainian SMEs – International Dimension” is implemented by a WYG International (UK) led consortium in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv oblasts. The Project will contribute to the development of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) competitiveness through institutional capacity building and policy advice to the main SME policy institutions, technical assistance in export and investment promotion and attracting foreign investments and through the increase of awareness of business internationalization in the country.
Greek Business Mission to Ukraine, June 01-05, 2008 (Kyiv. Odesa)
Herewith we would like to inform you that the Greek Business Mission to Ukraine will be held in June (01.06.08 – 05.06.08). 16 leading Greek companies in the areas of food, furs and leather garments, chemicals, mechanical, electrical and electronic equipments and products, building materials, agricultural equipments, and IT-solutions (see attached list) will visit Ukraine, seeking for new cooperation possibilities (please click here to download the full List of Greek companies). Greek Business Mission is organized by the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board (HEPO) in Athens and supported by the Embassy of Greece in Kyiv.
The Commercial section of the Austrian embassy in Ukraine is organizing the economic mission of Austrian companies Euro 2012: construction and investment to be held on May 26 in Donetsk, May 27 in Dniptropetrovsk, May 28 in Kiev and May 29 in Lviv. The official opening of the event by the Austrian Ambassador and Ukrainian officials takes place on May 28 at 09:00 at the Rus Hotel, 4 Hospitalna st. (conference hall on the 1st floor).
The Swiss-Ukrainian Business Forum will take place at the hotel “Premier Palace” in Kyiv 7th February 2008 with the kind support of the Swiss Embassy in Kyiv and with participation of the leading Swiss companies as UBS, KPMG, IMD, Walder Wyss & Partners,.IMD Lausanne, etc.
On 22-24 October, 2007, the Greek business mission to Kyiv was held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Athens in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine and our office.
On 8-10 October, 2007, the Netherlands Medical Trade Mission to Ukraine will take place in Kyiv. Mission participants are the Directors and representatives of private companies that work in sphere of developments and production of high technology and quality medical equipment, hospital projects development, etc.
Business to Business-Meetings in Frame of the Belgian Trade Delegation to Ukraine
The Belgian Trade Delegation will visit Kiev on 14.10.07-16.10.07 and Dniepropetrovsk on 17.10.07. All 3 regions (Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia) will be represented as well as a delegation from the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg.

Help for flood victims in Western Ukraine - EBA Western Ukrainian Branch
On 23-27 July 2008 Western Ukraine seriously suffered from the flood that turned out to become a large-scale ecological disaster as well as a tragedy for a great number of families. The flood catastrophic consequences inflicted profound grief, vast damage and irretrievable loss on the local communities. Under the tragic circumstances any help and support will be valued - the local people are waiting and hoping for assistance.
