Business Battle

EBA Business Battle project, as a kind of mental tournament, aimed at the establishment of intellectual dialogue and testing the general members` erudition in business and contiguous subjects, was first launched on 30 June 2009. The variety of puzzling questions that concerns economics, marketing, advertising are proposed by Ernst&Young. There are also some especially tricky questions about show business life from Gala Radio. The successful character of EBA business battle gave an impetus to its further development.

In the intellectual business tournaments the law of competition, as a motivating power of successful cooperative activity, is strictly obeyed. The struggle for the palm of supremacy presupposes not only the display of erudition in different aspects of EBA business development, but also tight team cooperation and mobility of answers on the tricky questions.

The process of battle is organised in two levels enabling the judges to define precisely the champion of the first game period. The amusing start of the game is marked by four teams participating, but in the final part of the battle only two of them are left. Such structure of the tournament helps to determine the indisputable winner.

The professional skills of Maria Sheremetieva, the DJ of Gala Radio, help to take off the strain character of the battle. The top-moment of the event is, of course, an award ceremony. Although the best award is prepared for the winner, there are also some comforting presents for the other team-participants.

The EBA events of tournament character are aimed not so on defining the champion of the battle, but on the uphold of cooperative uniqueness of EBA membership.

On 9 November the EBA hosted the final BUSINESS BATTLE game of the season 2011.

4 finalists - ART CAPITAL, Johnson & Johnson Ukraine, Printure Ukraine Ltd., and Integrites, International Law Firm - competed in hopes of winning the champion title and a grand prize.

The opening round of the game was held between the teams of ART CAPITAL and Integrites, International Law Firm and the second round played between Printure Ukraine Ltd. and Johnson & Johnson Ukraine. Each team demonstrated superb knowledge and enthusiasm. The whole game was exciting and heating as never before and the emotions reached the highest point.

The punch line of the game was the competition for the grand prize between two winning teams - ART CAPITAL and Printure Ukraine Ltd.

We are glad to congratulate the team of Printure Ukraine Ltd. on a well-deserved championship victory and amazing season! The winner showed an outstanding keenness of wit, team-playing strength, and true professionalism.

The winning team was awarded with a GRAND PRIZE – a trip to Italy for a whole team – kindly provided by County U and Ukraine International Airlines. We would like to thank heartily the event sponsors and wish the winners a marvellous Italian adventure!
