EuroDrinks
EBA Eurodrinks are extremely popular in Kyiv as a free and relaxing way to socialise and exchange viewpoints and experience. Сountry-themed Eurodrinks parties are often sponsored by a national embassy giving diplomats and business people the chance to convene and communicate in a friendly "club spirit" atmosphere. As a rule, EBA EuroDrink parties take place on last Tuesday of each month.
The tradition of EBA EuroDrinks also gives EBA community a chance to learn more about European countries. Each EuroDrink party represents the culture and national cuisines of the European Union member states.
Sponsorship support from EBA members also gives each EBA EuroDrink party a unique and unforgettable impression for each guest. Business Card Lottery traditionally held at EBA EuroDrink parties features valuable prizes (tours to Europe etc.) which are generously provided by EBA members or Embassies. In 2005 we started inviting outstanding Ukrainians to EBA EuroDrink parties. Famous musicians - Gaitana, Ani Lorak, Ruslana and Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Tina Karol; sport champions – Vitaliy Klichko, Katerina Serebryanska and Lilia Podkopaeva have already been our honorary guests. EBA EuroDrinks also give young Ukrainian musicians a chance to show their talents during the parties.
EBA EuroDrink parties are amongst the favourite events for EBA members and are well-recognised activites on Kyiv social scene. EBA EuroDrink parties have already become popular far outside EBA community. Over 300 guests take part in each EBA EuroDrink party. We are grateful to the Embassies of the European Union countries in Kyiv for their invaluable contribution in organising the Parties.
LATEST EVENTS REPORT
On 22 March, 2012 the European Business Association together with Her Majesty’s Ambassador Leigh Turner hosted an annual EBA British Night. The reception took place at Ambassador’s residence and gathered around a hundred persons from Association’s top business community.
Perfect time, courteous ambiance, respectful guests – everything was meant to make this night very British. Mr Ambassador opened the event with salutary address, bringing up a topic of Ukraine’s business environment and bilateral investment relations between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Representing the Association Mrs Maria Savchenko dwelled upon the importance of cooperation between ethics-driven companies and organisations as well thanked all guests, partners and Mr Turner for contribution to the such cooperation and hosting the event.
All guests were invited to taste delicious wine and treats as well as traditional Highland Park and The Macallan whisky in the cosy atmosphere of Ambassador’s house. The evening of networking and socialising ended with traditional EuroDrink business raffle. Among the lucky winners were Marco Colloredo of Danieli Heavy Machinery Engineering, Khrystyna Lyahovych of UIA, Yaroslava Butenko of CTC, Charles Otter of Radisson Blu Hotel, Igor Kavkazsky of Printure, Andre Kuusvek of EBRD, Alexey Aleksandrov of Ukrsibbank, Elena Rizhkova of Jansen, Vena Beleva of Repriza and others. Presents were kindly provided by event sponsors – Dior, UIA, Ahmad, Grace, TET, InterContinental, Pulse, and Officiele-Hommes.
