Basketball Tournaments
Everyone knows that regular physical activity is essential and useful for our health and wellbeing. Basketball sets physical as well as intellectual tasks for players. While accuracy and consistency are necessary to score points, no scores can be achieved without a strong desire and drive to win.
Striving to keep our community spirit high, the European Business Association arranged Basketball Tournament on 28 March 2009. We are happy to state that 14 EBA companies met as competitive teams on basketball arena of National University of “ Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”.

EBA Basketball tournament 2011
April 2, 2011 a traditional EBA Basketball Tournament was held! This year 10 teams have participated in the tournament, representing EBA member-companies. They are:
- A.B.C. Group of Companies
- Astelit
- Asters
- Deloitte
- Ernst & Young
- FESTO
- Materialise
- PricewaterhouseCoopers
- Synevo
- Syngenta
The tournament was exceptionally intense. Each team strived for victory. 4 teams met in the finals. Pairs - A.B.C. Group of Companies and Deloitte, Astelit and PricewaterhouseCoopers, competed for the respective top places.
According to the results of games, the places were distributed as follows:
- Third place - PricewaterhouseCoopers
- Second place - A.B.C. Group of Companies
- First place - Deloitte

Winners received respective prizes: beer from "Slavutich", sweets from "Nestle" and certificates for Bowling and Billiards from "Brooklyn Bowling Club”. The fans could refresh themselves during the tournament with "Red Bull" energy drink and the sun-drink “Kvas” from "Slavutich".
