Women Club
The idea to establish EBA Women’s Club stems from the growing role on women in modern business circles. As gender equality reaches its consolidation in Ukrainian society, lots of issues appear that are important for businesswomen. In such conditions it becomes almost vital for business women to have a forum to discuss and promote their business interests. The meetings of EBA Women’s Club are dedicated to discussing the most important topics for women in business such as: network building for business women, the special activities of companies for women, business education & opportunities for women etc.
The club gives an exclusive opportunity to all women employed by EBA member companies to participate in business in Ukraine and forms a strong networking platform for women within EBA community.
One should note that the club is becoming more and more popular among EBA members as they actively participate in club’s activity. The first EBA Women’s club meeting held on the 10 December 2009 proved how eager EBA members were to participate and during the third meeting participants agreed to hold elections for the club’s President, two Vice-Presidents and Club Coordinator so that the club becomes a well organised and well structured forum for business ladies in Ukraine.

Held on 21 March 2012 EBA Women’s Club meeting featured a prominent keynote guest – energetic, smart and open-hearted business lady Victoria TIGIPKO.
Victoria Tigipko from the very first sight inspired the audience by her sparkling enthusiasm, outstanding professional and personal qualities.
The key of Victoria’s success is admirable diligence, patience and continued efforts. Victoria told the ladies of EBA community about a turning point moment in her life – being a schoolgirl, she travelled to Poland and saw another, completely different lifestyle, open opportunities for personal growth and development, and sky-high perspectives.
At that moment Victoria realised her intention and strong will to change the way she lived. Being still at school, Victoria earned her first money interpreting at the international exhibitions and forums. Victoria perfectly masters English, French and German. Victoria Tigipko got her first serious job when being a first-year student, two years later she managed to buy her first car by herself. Being 24 years old Victoria headed a company which became the first dealer of KARCHER in Ukraine. This role brought Victoria a valuable experience, as she as a young female entrepreneur, faced a lot of difficulties and learned how to deal with intolerance from the colleagues. This experience became another brick in a wall of Victoria’s success.
In her strive to open new horizons and widen the outlook, Victoria left her well-paid stable job and started running her own business. One day she became a noticeable player on Ukraine’s IT market.
Internet technologies and innovations is a sphere which can truly be called a fount of inspiration to Victoria. In cooperation with the partners Victoria Tigipko manages investment projects for IT startups, which contribute to time and costs saving which are so important for today’s entrepreneurs living in a dynamic and changing business environment.
Apart from being a successful business lady, Victoria brings up three kids and it is a must for her to spend evenings and weekends with her family and children.
