The celebration was exciting: with Ukrainian national songs and dances, with “varenyky”, “salo” and “gorilka”. Participants enjoyed pleasant surprises and contests with gifts. Guests had an opportunity to talk to the heroes of Mykola Hohol’s novels – Pannochka, Devil and the author himself – the actors of Odesa Theatre Studio performed scenes from popular novels of the prominent writer. During the evening all guests had an opportunity to visit the Museum of Literature and a special exhibition devoted to Mykola Hohol’s novels. Participants discussed the legal basis for appeals on tax bodies’ decisions and effective models of interaction between companies and tax administration. The guest speaker of the meeting was Irene Zalizenko, Associate Director, Head of Industrial and Logistics Property Department, DTZ. Mrs Zalizenko made a presentation focusing on the logistics real estate market in Ukraine. She emphasised that this market is well developed chiefly in central regions. The EBA Branch provided an opportunity for its members to relax after a demanding working week in a friendly, cozy and warm atmosphere. It was pretty clearly an event for billiard lovers who were given a chance to play a game of pool, snooker or Russian billiard and to compete for a prize. Development of this standard began in 2005 and will finish in 2010. Project defines corporate social responsibility (CSR) as the responsibility of organisation for the impact of its decisions and actions on society and environment. It can be implemented through transparent and ethical conduct. CSR helps society to develop sustainably, promotes with health and prosperity; takes account of expectations of interested parties; does not contradict any legislation or international regulations of the conduct. Introduction of CSR allows to increase the value of shares, the level of quality management, has impact on on PR of a company, its competitiveness and achievements in economic, social and ethical standards.
