The EBA held a meeting regarding Technical Regulation on Detergents. This time the guest speakers were: Valentyna Yanovych - Head of Division on Technical Regulations of the Department on Technical Regulation of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Tetyana Rubtsova – Head of Standardisation and Metrology Department and Tetyanya Slotyuk - Senior Scientist from the Scientific and Technical Centre “VNDIHIMPROEKT”.

As a result of the meeting it was agreed that the enforcement of the Technical Regulation on Detergents shall be postponed till 2013 while compulsory certification will be returned instead of new procedure of conformation of compliance. Besides new alterations to the existed Technical Regulation shall be introduced considering producers and importers position.

In particular, it relates to such issues as: methodologies of  decay determination of detergents; labelling of products with marking with signs of accordance and quantity of laundering cycles, etc.; ban to use fruits’ images on packaging of liquid detergents, etc.
