In 2007 the EBA monthly English Newsletter was replaced by some more new periodical issues: General Digest, Regional Digest, Lobbying Digest and Discount Digest. All of them, except for Lobbying, are issues, which can be accessed for free at the EBA web site: http://digest.eba.com.ua. These EBA Digests keep the EBA members updated on the Association's news and the calendar of events, latest achievements, on expansion of the EBA services etc.
We are glad to introduce you to:
• EBA General Digest, which comes out every Monday. It was launched on 13 February, 2007. It presents:
- Upcoming events; - General events update; - Hit of this week; - Committee meetings update; - News from the EU; - Hit of next week; - Information support; - News from members, etc.
• EBA Regional Digest, which comes out every 2 weeks on Tuesday or Wednesday. It was launched on 20 February, 2007. It presents:
- Upcoming events from: Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Zhytomyr; - Regional events update; - News from regional members, etc.
• EBA Discount Digest, which usually comes out every 2 weeks on Friday. It was launched on 6 April, 2007. It offers services, an amount eligible for discounts and company contact details. The Discount Digest is distributed among EBA members twice a month. It presents:
- New EBA Discount members; - Special discount offers; - Discount update, etc.
• EBA Lobbying Digest, which comes out every 2 weeks on Thursday. It was launched on 14 February, 2007. This Digest could be reached only by the representatives of the EBA member company using the password and it presents:
Help for flood victims in Western Ukraine - EBA Western Ukrainian Branch
On 23-27 July 2008 Western Ukraine seriously suffered from the flood that turned out to become a large-scale ecological disaster as well as a tragedy for a great number of families. The flood catastrophic consequences inflicted profound grief, vast damage and irretrievable loss on the local communities. Under the tragic circumstances any help and support will be valued - the local people are waiting and hoping for assistance.
