15/07 11:00 EBA Boat Cruise 2006 - 'EBA Champions Cup'    

sponsored by: KYIVSTAR, CARLSBERG (General Sponsors) and DLA PIPER (Sponsor) was held in Kyiv. This year the annual EBA Boat Cruise – “EBA Champions Cup” gathered over 450 EBA members with their families and friends to cruise down the Dnipro on two river boats to the Velyky Island not far from Kyiv.

On the island all guests had a chance to express themselves in various exciting activities. Adults and kids - everyone was a champion on that day.

Those favouring sports could enjoy traditional sports like football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton. For the ones going in for so called ‘extreme’ sport the Sports Area offered mountain biking and canoeing. Intellectual workout was represented by brain ring and crossword competitions in the Intellectual Area. Megaflop, arm wrestling, fencing, bag boxing, air football and beer contest in the Entertainment Area also brought new experiences to the champions.

While adults were sporting, kids had fun in the company of the Quiky Bunny and received nice presents from Nesquik. 

In spite of the quick but heavy rain in late afternoon the EuroDisco arranged by GALA RADIO on the island was extremely popular and gave additional energy to the champions.

Through the day all champions could also treat themselves through the day to rich menu with a variety of delicious meals and drinks: Ukrainian soup 'Ukha', assorted shashlyks and sausages, salads, grilled vegetables, nice desserts; wine, beer, juices, water, coffee and tea... you name it.

Many champions went for a challenge in winning the Champion of Champions title. Those who got 10 scores and more in the games had a chance to participate in the special Champions’ Draw to win one of the Super Prizes:

- a stay for two for a week at luxury apartment in Nea Makri resort near Athens from APOLLO TOUR. Return flight was provided by AEROSVIT.

- a certificate for 1000 Euros at the Kyiv Duty Free shop provided by KYIVRIANTA.

- a week-end for two at Palace Del Mar Hotel in Arkadia, Odesa from SKY LINE. Return flight is provided by AEROSVIT.
