was held at the EBA office in Kyiv. The main topic of the meeting was discussion of Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 31 dated 16 January 2007 and elaboration of the Committee’s Activity Plan.

During the meeting the participants discussed the abovementioned Resolution which appointed NAK Naftogas to be the only company authorised to buy gas from Naftogaz, Ukrnafta, and Nak Nadra and sell it to citizens. According to Committee members this provision makes a barrier for foreign investments in industry. The participants of the meeting agreed to draft a letter to the governmental authorities on this issue.

Moreover, the participants considered wide range of issues to be focused on during next meetings of the EBA Fuel and Energy Committee.
