took place at the European Commission premises. The meeting was held within the framework of the EU-Ukraine IP Dialogue. The state authorities were respresented by Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
The attendees dicsussed the following issues: amendments to the Article 176 of the Criminal Code aimed at increasing effectiveness of Ministry of Internal Affairs actions against all types of infringement in IPR sphere, notably in the sphere of internet piracy and illegal public performance piracy; increase of fines for administrative infringement in IPR sphere; competence of state inspectors of SDIP, etc.
