02/09 14:45 Help for flood victims in Western Ukraine - EBA Western Ukrainian BranchOn 23-27 July 2008 Western Ukraine seriously suffered from the flood that turned out to become a large-scale ecological disaster as well as a tragedy for a great number of families. The flood catastrophic consequences inflicted profound grief, vast damage and irretrievable loss on the local communities. Under the tragic circumstances any help and support will be valued - the local people are waiting and hoping for assistance.
The EBA Western Ukrainian Branch encouraged and urged the EBA members to show their concern and sympathy and render help to flood victims in Western Ukraine. The EBA member company Tebodin Ukraine gladly responded to the request and provided foodstuff that the EBA Western Ukrainian Branch representatives delivered to victims of the flood-hit villages Holeshiv and Mlynyska in the Zhydachiv district of the Lviv region on 23 August 2008.
