On 17 September the Marketing Committee took place in the EBA Kyiv-based office. This time the Committee was arranged in a manner of a topical round table featuring seven guest-speakers who mainly represented Event Agencies. The meeting focusing on the issue “Practical Recommendations on Event Management” gathered nearly 60 committee members who started a lively discussion with speakers talking over a number of relevant issues. The attendees tried to find answers to the following questions: - choosing a proper place for organising an event - briefing an agency and elaborating an appropriate briefing questionnaire for a client - outsourcing - participating in a tender
The next Marketing Committee is planned to take place on 15 October 2008.
EBA HR Committee
at the EBA office in Kyiv, 1-st floor, 1A Andriyivsky Uzviz. The meeting was devoted to summarising results of the EBA HR Committee activity in 2008. During this meeting the participants discussed the Committee priorities and action plan for 2009.
was held in Victoriya Hotel. Mr Ihor Sbitnev, the Chairman of the EBA Branch Board, greeted participants and wished them Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. He expressed hope that the next year would bring new opportunities and prospects for business development to the EBA members .
