22/09 11:35 Joint meeting of the EBA Food and Regulatory Affairs
was held at the EBA office in Kyiv. The guest speakers at the meeting were representatives of the State Plant Quarantine Inspection who updated the EBA members on implementation of the Plant Quarantine Law of Ukraine.
The participants discussed problems faced by companies at the customs border with regard to plant quarantine permits. It was agreed that the State plant Quarantine Service would work out rules for issuing respective permits taking into account particular cases described by EBA member-companies.
EBA HR Committee
at the EBA office in Kyiv, 1-st floor, 1A Andriyivsky Uzviz. The meeting was devoted to summarising results of the EBA HR Committee activity in 2008. During this meeting the participants discussed the Committee priorities and action plan for 2009.
was held in Victoriya Hotel. Mr Ihor Sbitnev, the Chairman of the EBA Branch Board, greeted participants and wished them Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. He expressed hope that the next year would bring new opportunities and prospects for business development to the EBA members .
