took place at the office of Axioma company. Mr Pridannikov, Tax Supervisor of Philip Morris Ukraine, presented the Kharkiv Tax Committee concept to the attendees and outlined the Committee’s goals, tasks and work procedure. Also he highlighted the main achievements of the EBA Tax Committee in Kiev. The activities of the Lviv Branch Tax Committee were also referred to.

The participants shared opinions on the Strategy of Tax System Reforming proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Victoriya Kozakova, Head of Department of mass-interpretation work and citizens’ appeals of STA in Kharkiv Oblast, briefed the attendees on “hot topics” in taxation, such as “tax gaps” and VAT refunding. In conclusion she invited the EBA members to work with the Public Council at STA and participate in an on-line forum on STA’s web-site.
