Furthermore, their charismatic speeches generated substantial interest and activity among the Committee members. After the candidates finished their speeches, the Committee coordinator marked that current Committee Chair Marina Rymarenko was nominated too and her message comprising general rules for governing the Committee would be sent out to all attendees afterwards.
The Committee’s guest-speaker Steven Deketelaere, Managing Director at iVOX Belgium was invited to make his presentation “Online Market Research in Ukraine: a Broad Range of Opportunities”. A true expert, he described the current situation of the Ukrainian marketing market which, he noted, numbers many young ambitious specialists unlike in Belgium where most of marketers are over 35 years old. Yet in Ukraine the average marketers’ age is 20-30. The Committee members agreed with him. In his presentation Mr Deketelaere shared his deep insight and knowledge of the online market research sphere. Also his presentation outlined the following aspects: online market research background, the Ukrainian internet population and online research advantages. Besides, he emphasised that in this regard Ukraine is the most prospective country in Europe.
The guest-speaker was glad to talk over prospects of online research in Ukraine and other topic-related issues raised by the attendees within the Q & A session.
