Mr Pridannikov, Tax Supervisor of Philip Morris Ukraine, presented changes in taxation introduced by the Law on Urgent Measures To Prevent Negative Outcomes of Financial Crisis and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts. The participants shared opinions on the STAU’s initiatives on prevention of taxation evasion schemes and the latest STAU’s comments on taxation of marketing charges. In conclusion attendees agreed to formulate their comments regarding discussed draft laws to STAU with proposals to make them more business friendly. As Mr Pridannikov noticed: “Businesses are obliged to pay taxes, not to implement detective investigation concerning their partners, as the STAU’s initiatives encourage to”.
EBA HR Committee
at the EBA office in Kyiv, 1-st floor, 1A Andriyivsky Uzviz. The meeting was devoted to summarising results of the EBA HR Committee activity in 2008. During this meeting the participants discussed the Committee priorities and action plan for 2009.
