The main goals of the Memorandum are:

-          transparent cooperation with current and future foreign investors;

-          forming favorable conditions for foreign investments involvement;

-          solving problems restraining investment process;

-          forming a welcoming image of Lviv among potential investors;

-          support to current foreign investors for faster and stable city development.

 

The parties have agreed to realize the following actions in 2006 and 2007:

 

1. to establish the Committee with the representatives from the Lviv City Council and the EBA Western Ukrainian Branch for a faster consideration of foreign investors’ complaints and proposals;

 

2. to forward potential investors to Lviv City Council and to EBA for assistance;

 

3. to conduct seminars for a young generation regarding labor market in Lviv in order to prepare personnel for future foreign investors` projects;

 

4. to establish transparent  procedure for receiving permissions and registrations, necessary for realization of the “Investment project in Lviv”.
