PUBLIC COUNCILS 

Public  Councils established under Ukrainian Ministries provide medium for resolving specific problems in dialogue with relevant authorities. Recent  shift  in  the  governmental policy towards closer cooperation with  business  contributed  to  improving  or  resuming activities of numerous Public Councils.

Thus,  in  2005  the EBA enhanced its involvement into Public Councils within  Ukrainian  Ministries and State Committees as well as in other governmental  and  non-governmental institutions and made considerable contribution  to  solving  various issues related to doing business in Ukraine via the membership in Public Councils and Collegia at:

•       The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine
•       The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine 
•       The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
•       The Ministry of Health of Ukraine
•       The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine
•       The Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine
•       The State Customs Service of Ukraine 
•       The State Department of Intellectual Property of Ukraine
•       The State Tax Administration of Ukraine
•       The Anti-monopoly Committee of Ukraine 
•       The State Property Fund of Ukraine 
•       The State Committee of Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship of Ukraine 
•       The Governmental Committee on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration 
•       The State Committee for Technical Regulation and Consumer  Policy
•       The Parliament of Ukraine (Public Council on Legislation).

The  EBA  also  took  part  in meetings of the Public Council of the State Tourism Administration of Ukraine.

Also,  the  EBA  had  the  honour  to be the Deputy Head of the Public Collegium  of  the  State  Customs  Service  of  Ukraine,  and is also chairing the Sectorial Council on Budget established within the Public Collegium  of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Moreover the EBA is a  member  of  permanent commission on Consideration of Taxation Bills within  the  Public  Collegium  of  the  State  Tax  Administration of Ukraine.
