WORKING GROUPS

The  EBA  was  active  in  representing  interests  of  its members on specific  issues  related to certain industries or conditions of doing business  in Ukraine in specially established Working Groups. The list of such Groups includes but is not limited to:

-  Joint  Working  Group  within  the  State  Tax  Administration, the National  Bank,  the  State  Treasury  and  the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine dealing with the Value Added Tax (VAT) in respect of reviewing the tax legislation to improve the VAT administration;

-  Working  Groups  within  the State Customs Service, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to deal with accelerated revision of regulatory acts;

-  Working  group  on  Investment  Promotion  and  Protection  of  the Ukraine–EU Subcommittee # 1 on Trade and Investment under the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine;

-  Intergovernmental  Working  Group  on  Elaboration  of  Development Concept of Technical Regulation System and Consumer Protection as well as Strategic Plan of its Implementation;

-  Expert  Group  under the National Bank of Ukraine On Development of Regulations On Export and Import of Capital;

-  Working  groups  with  the  Ministry of Health On Formulary System;  National  List  of  Essential Medications; Pharma trading regulations; Pharma products registration procedure; Pharmacovigilance procedure;

-   Steering   Committee  of  the  TACIS  Bistro  Project/2004/084-670 Combating  Counterfeits Plant Protection Project. Working group of the TACIS   Bistro   Project/2004/084-670   Combating   Counterfeit   Crop Protection Products on development the draft law On Amendments to Some Laws  of  Ukraine  concerning  combating  counterfeit  crop protection products.  Ministry  of  Agrarian  Policy, Ministry of Health and Ministry  of Internal Affairs and the State Customs Service of Ukraine were members of this working group as well.
